Jen’s work encompasses more than one genre, but her particular passion is the landscape of Britain, its countryside, coastlines, skies and the effects that the weather and seasons have upon it. To portray and explore the energy and moods of nature around her, Jen uses her brushes, finger tips, palette knives and rags to apply paint on paper, canvas or wood panels. She has exhibited in numerous galleries in the Midlands, in Open Studios and online. Her influences include the British Artists Kirt Jackson, David Tress, Joan Eardley and Fred Cuming.
