Cheryl Cracknell is a textile artist and tutor working with raw merino wool, silk, alpaca and other fibres which she combines in a feltmaking process to produce textural pieces of art and wearables, such as scarves and stoles.
Carol trained in wet felting and is self taught in needle felting, making sculptures of animals from native wools including Cotswold wool. All her sculptures have moveable limbs although they are delicate so not suitable as toys for young children
Carol runs workshops for children and adults in groups of up to 6 to ensure sufficient 1 to 1 support
Commissions are welcome.
